Visitor Accessibility & Amenities

We want every visitor to have a comfortable and enjoyable experience at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum.

If you need assistance entering the museum, please call 760-369-7212, and a staff member will be happy to assist you.

Task-trained service animals are welcome throughout the museum. For the safety of our collections and visitors, we kindly ask that all other pets remain at home.

The museum offers two single-occupancy restrooms, including a changing table in the south restroom for families with young children.

We are proud to be a breastfeeding-friendly museum and welcome nursing parents.

A water bottle filling station is available inside the museum to help you stay hydrated during your visit.
