Call for collectors: The Hi-Desert Nature Museum invites the community to assist museum staff in creating a super-sized road-trip scrapbook album to commemorate Route 66’s 100th anniversary. The Museum is looking for Route 66 related mementos, memorabilia, souvenirs, vintage postcards, and photographs for display in the “The Journey is the Destination” exhibition. Objects must be suitable for exhibition and must remain on display throughout December 12, 2026.
Items will be accepted Wednesday, October 7th through Saturday, October 10th.
