Make One of Our Family Members One of Yours

Become a Wild Child Sponsor

You can’t keep an Antelope Ground Squirrel in your living room, but you can do the next best thing! Become a sponsor of a Hi-Desert Nature Museum “Wild Child”. By becoming a sponsor to one or more of the museum’s treasured mini-zoo residents, you contribute to the care and feeding of the museum’s animals. And when you donate to the Wild Child Program, you join a growing family of individuals and groups who play an important role in protecting and preserving our desert animals.

To join the Wild Child Program, complete the Sponsor Form and mail with your check for the sponsorship fee of $25.00 made payable to the Town of Yucca Valley. Sponsorship is good for one year and can be purchased by individuals, families, clubs, schools, teams, or troops.

The Rewards of Sponsorship are:
  • A personalized certificate with an information sheet and photograph of your animal.
  • Your name, or the name of the person or group that you designate, printed in the Museum Association newsletter and listed on the Town of Yucca Valley’s web site.
  • A special card sent to you from your sponsor animal on your birthday.
  • With gift sponsorships, a coordinated gift card announcing your gift.
  • The satisfaction of knowing you have committed to protecting and conserving our natural world.
