Celebrate Earth Day! 2009

Conservation Fair and Earth Day Celebration

Saturday, April 18, 2009

9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Happy New Year!

Even though the Year 2009 just started, the planning for Earth Day is well under way. We hope you will be interested in participating again. If you know of anybody else who would be a “good fit” and is interested in being part of this great event please don’t hesitate and give out our information!

Earth Day at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum

In honor of Earth Day, the Hi-Desert Nature Museum will celebrate the diversity of life on earth with a day of activities that will inform, educate, and entertain visitors. Local experts will be on hand to provide demonstrations for turning waste into black gold for your garden, growing your own food, and recycling. This family-oriented event includes live animal presentations, gardening demonstrations, kids activities, and live international music. There will also be a variety of vendor booths featuring local artists and environmental education resources.
