Planned Giving
The term "planned giving" is often used to describe a number of tax-advantaged financial planning tools which can be used to accomplish your charitable and financial goals.
Planned giving strategies can:
- Reduce estate taxes
- Produce income tax savings
- Bring immediate and deferred tax advantages to both you and your heirs
- Help you accomplish your charitable giving goals
- Have a meaningful impact on the Hi-Desert Nature Museum beyond your own lifetime and far into the future
Use Your IRA as Never Before! Congress passed the Pension Protection Act of 2006 which provides tax incentives for donors who are 70 1/2 or older, enabling them to make tax-free gifts to qualified charities directly from their IRA retirement account. The provision expires on December 31, 2007.
Please consult your tax advisor if you are contemplating a planned gift to the Hi-Desert Nature Museum.
